Want to know more about how to design and conduct your own clinical trial and the secrets of a successful funding application?
Do you have an idea but are not sure how to turn this into a reality?
OCTRU is running a one day course on Friday 10 June which is specifically aimed at new investigators who would like to design and conduct their own trial but who have not yet successfully applied for funding.
The day is designed to be interactive with experienced speakers and clinical trialists who will provide you with a practical understanding of the issues involved in developing a good research question, principles of good trial design and choosing the right trial design to answer your question.
The course will provide practical steps in knowing where and how to apply for trial funding and in understanding how to write a successful funding application, including how to effectively cost a trial balancing the tricky issue of research costs, NHS costs and excess treatment costs.
