OCTRU has been awarded 1 of 5 prestigious NIHR Systematic Review Fellowships – applications welcome

Details:

We have recently been awarded one of five prestigious Systematic Review Fellowships awarded annually in the UK, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Research Methods Programme.

The Fellowship is aimed at highly-talented individuals who are either in their early postgraduate career or returning to the workplace after a career break, and who are looking to change the focus of their career whilst still utilising their undergraduate/previous training.

The Fellowship is unique in that it provides dedicated time (2 years full-time) for the Fellow to undertake structured training in systematic reviews, whilst also gaining practical hands on systematic review experience in a high-quality research environment. The Fellowship also includes the opportunity to undertake a funded Master’s degree at the University of Oxford.

The Systematic Review Fellow will be based jointly at the Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit (OCTRU) and Centre for Statistics in Medicine (CSM), at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences in Oxford.
