‘How to be a good Chief Investigator’ workshop organised by the MRC Network of Hubs for Trials Methodology Research

The MRC Network of Hubs for Trials Methodology Research are running a free one-day workshop on the 26th Feb 2015 in Manchester for new Chief Investigators on funded Randomised Clinical Trials. The workshop will consist of:

•Talks from clinical trial units, funders of clinical trials and trial methodologists.
•Interactive problem solving sessions.
•“Stories from the sites”- experiences of CIs.
•Plenary speaker- Sir Rory Collins, University of Oxford.

This workshop is free to shortlisted applicants, and a contribution to travel costs will be available for delegates. Applicants must be a new CI on a Randomised Clinical Trial which is already funded.

To apply please send a 2-page CV detailing your career to date and a cover letter containing the title and funder of your trial, and a copy of the trial abstract.
Extended deadline for applications: 1pm Friday 12th December 2014.
